Hario Mugen Brewing Kit (VMSP-2012-TB) is designed for coffee lovers who enjoy the simplicity of a continuous pour. While it resembles the classic V60, the Mugen dripper has distinct features that set it apart: a flat wall design, limited ridges, and a more restricted flow. These elements cause the paper filter to adhere closely to the dripper walls, slowing down the drawdown and extending the contact time between coffee and water, resulting in a richer extraction.

Although there are various brewing techniques possible with the Mugen, we recommend using a slightly coarser grind size than what you would typically use for a standard V60 dripper.
